Robinia tiles are pre-screwed squares of Robinia wood for quick flat laying for balcony floors, patios, (roof) terraces and walkways. Due to the great natural weather resistance and resilience of Robinia wood, Robinia wood tiles are ideal for outdoor use.
Our robinia tiles are made from kiln-dried robinia wood, are planed and are treated with a food-grade oil. The oil is made from renewable resources except for a small amount of zinc for light protection.
Our standard tile consists of 8 robinia slats, each 5mm apart. The individual slats are attached to a substructure consisting of three cross slats made of robinia wood. At each node the slats are connected with two stainless steel screws. The surface is flawless, the sides are grooved all around.
The tiles can be laid in a checkerboard pattern or in alternating transverse and longitudinal rows to achieve different visual effects.
